University Advisory Board

RateMyPlacement is excited to announce the launch of a University Advisory Board.

The Advisory Board will play a crucial role in guiding our efforts to provide students & graduates with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive in today’s job market.

The University Advisory Board will consist of 10 volunteers working in student employability across a range of universities in the UK & Ireland. Meetings will take place 2-3 times per year, virtually.

Please fill in the form to nominate yourself or a colleague as a volunteer for the Advisory Board. RateMyPlacement will review all nominations and announce final Board Members in November 2024.

Eligibility criteria for nominations

To ensure that our University Advisory Board is made up of experienced professionals who can contribute meaningfully, we are looking for nominees who meet the following criteria.

  • Nominees should have at least 2 years of experience working in university careers services, placement offices, or employability roles across the UK & Ireland.

  • Ideal nominees are actively involved in promoting internships, placements, or graduate opportunities for students at their institution.

  • Ideal nominees have experience building relationships with employers or industry partners to facilitate student opportunities.

  • We are looking for professionals who can bring fresh ideas to enhance student employability and improve the placement process.

  • Nominees must be able to commit to attending 2-3 virtual board meetings per year and for a minimum 2 year rotation.
